Clouds Indoor is a fresh name in the Belgian music scene, formed by musicians with roots in the indie rock, punk, and metal scenes. With their unique blend of cutting guitars and immersive melodies, Clouds Indoor tells meaningful stories without words.
Their instrumental compositions range from enchanting, dreamy passages to imposing walls of sound, with contrast and dynamics at the heart of their sound.
The band draw inspiration from genre greats like Explosions in the Sky, Russian Circles, and Mogwai, while subtle echoes of DIIV and Radiohead shine through in their music. This results in a distinctive style that pushes and transcends the boundaries of genres. Live, this translates into intense and captivating performances that fully immerse the audience in their world.
In 2023, Clouds Indoor debuted with their self-released album "A Journey", a record that immediately put them on the radar. The album led to a packed concert schedule with performances in clubs and at festivals. Their momentum received a solid boost in 2024 by winning several awards, including the Ballastival Battle (with Mario Goossens as jury president), the Bunkpoprally, and the Heidefeesten Open Stage.
